A depiction of life from 1930, right up to present day, focusing on real life experiences and compelling stories from a 92 year old.
A documentary which explores the life of my 92-year-old grandmother.
The piece seeks to curate the life experiences of a woman who has lived through many of the 20th Century’s greatest events: From the Great Depression and World War 2 all explored through the day to day life of a woman from a small Warwickshire town. I wanted to sensitively explore through my Grandmother’s private reflections on her childhood, the war, working and life today as a 92-year-old, independently living woman - how society has changed and how she had to adapt to thrive.
Brenda Colclough
Brenda is 92 years old and is from Atherstone, Warwickshire. She's lived in this town since she was born back in 1928 and has remained here all her life. She's lived in her current home for 64 years, that she shared with her late husband Ken. She's a strong, independent woman full of wisdom and in 'Life Encounters at 92', she shares her life experiences and fascinating stories - to a generation that can learn from her remarkable tales of history.
